An insulated door keeps an attached garage warmer through the winter, protects the rooms above it, and runs more quietly. We install polystyrene and polyurethane-core doors with thermal seals between sections.

Polyurethane-core doors are stronger and insulate better per inch than polystyrene. In a New England winter, the seals matter as much as the core, so we always fit new ones.
